Bryceville
March 31st, 2008Last night, we led worship for the evening servce at Bryceville First Baptist Church. I (Eric) constantly tell the guys, “If I only had a video camera…” when cool video-worthy things happen. Well, I actually have one now, but decided not to bring it last night. Doh.
Video-worthy events include
- FINALLY getting a cassette adapter so we can listen to an iPod in the van. A nice mix of Hillsong United, Killers, Michael Jackson, R.E.M., and New Order among others. By the way, Jeremy really doesn’t like the song “Out of My Head” by Fastball.
- Jeremy sinking a half-court shot on his first try. As a prize, Paul gave him the tomatoes from our excellent spaghetti dinner.
- Robert telling the congregation of how he beat his leg bloody to teach his son a spiritual lesson.
- Sweet worship with ages 15-85.
Whether it’s 1,000 youth workers or 30 churchgoers, the Spirit is still the same and God is just as good. Thanks, Bryceville FBC!
