Recording drums yesterday went surprisingly well! Robert breathed a sigh of relief that the recording gear we bought is producing nice results. Props go out to

• Eric for blogging and watching the Pistons-Celtics game on his computer

Actually, Eric pulled up a video on YouTube that encouraged us by saying that the way we were recording the drums was correct. See, being an Internet nerd has its upside.

I can’t believe we’re becoming one of those bands, but we’re about to record and wanted to blog about it.

We’re tracking drums in our new “studio” (conveniently located in a friend’s house). Everything is going great so far, considering we just set up all the gear and mics. This is our first time trying to record ourselves. There will probably be quite a learning curve, but we’re up for it. We want to get you some good tunes.

We’ll keep in touch about this and about everything in general. We love you guys and you deserve a lot more than monthly updates.
